English for Aircraft is a course designed for users of aircraft documentation, notably ground mechanics and technicians, who already have a minimum grasp of aircraft technology.
The two volumes may be used for classroom teaching or for self-study.
The Maintenance volum consists of a large number of short extracts taken from documents such as maintenance manuals and service bulletins. Each axtract is accompanied by comprehension and vocabulary exercises ranging from "scanning" activities to more detailed analysis of the technical content.
