Every soldier knows it: There's nothing more dangerous than a young lieutenant fresh out of the Academy... This humorous series on the American Civil War centres around two cavalrymen in the Union Army: Cornelius Chesterfield, a zealous and devoted sergeant, and Corporal Blutch, a reluctant soldier highly critical of authority, always trying to avoid yet another senseless battle.
