Read to your baby every day with this collection of developmentally tailored stories.
First Stories for Baby presents a pitch-perfect blend of read-aloud stories and high-contrast visuals to stimulate babies from birth. With four stories to read, and four adorable animals: an owl, bear, tiger and dolphin.
This first book in the series is all about closeness, cuddles and physical descriptions - perfect for very young babies whose limited gaze is focused on their care-giver. Book 1 is purely in black and white to help tiny babies focus on the page. Neither too long, nor too short, these stories easily fit into baby's daily routine, to make reading together a regular activity all the family can enjoy and benefit from.
When your little one is ready to move on, try the next book in the series: Make Some Noise. Each story collection has been created in consultation with an early years expert to perfectly suit your baby's needs at every stage in their first year. Beautifully written and illustrated by award-winning illustrator Emma Dodd.
