Brandon Sanderson grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. He lives in Utah with his wife and children and teaches creative writing at Brigham Young University. He is the author of such bestsellers as the Mistborn trilogy, The Stormlight Archive, The Reckoners trilogy and the Skyward series. He has won a Hugo Award for Best Novella, the David Gemmell Award for Best Novel, and twice won the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice for Best Epic Fantasy.
